Morrison Reist cares not only about its clients but about the Kitchener-Waterloo Community and beyond. Melanie, Charles and Pamela together support a number of organizations with their time and enjoy being a part of effecting change for the future. Here are just a few things the trio has been dedicated to and a part of recently:
- In November 2010, Morrison Reist sponsored Purse-suassion, a fundraising event in support of the Alzheimer’s Society of Kitchener Waterloo. Melanie, Charles and Pamela attended.
- Melanie was President of the Waterloo Law Association when the announcement was made that a new courthouse was to be built in Waterloo Region. She continues to be actively involved with the project. Melanie attended the ground breaking ceremony along with judicial and local elected officials. The building is slated to be completed in 2013. Melanie also took part in the 25 km Ride for Refuge raising money for refugees looking to build new lives for their families in Kitchener-Waterloo.

- Charles is actively involved in a weekly Chamber of Commerce networking group, helping to ensure that small businesses in the region thrive. He regularly speaks about family law issues. In March 2011, he addressed his Chamber Networks lunch group with Ten Important Legal Tips

- Pamela is vice chair of the Alzheimer's Society of Kitchener Waterloo board of directors and recently participated in the annual Walk for Memories in support of the ASKW. She advocates for the ASKW at a number of events throughout the year.
